David Muir is an American journalist and anchor most well-known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir in addition to his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20, for which he is anchorman and anchor and co-anchor. With its animated gestures and dramatic clips of celeb chatter, his program has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the main substitute anchor for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer.
