Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete as well as a media star. The media has praised her for being the sole woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. Since a young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and enjoyed working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years (as in 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie began CrossFit when she was in California. She performed well in initial competitions and was at the top of the list out of 70. However, she was unable to win any awards but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. In the following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is a rising athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube page boasts over 1,000 followers, and she has posted her family and travel videos as well as training diets.
